Actually, suppose I should mention...
As I am well known (i think!) for having a number of unrelated names, I write for two national UK magazines under one of them, and the next issue in your WHSmith's due in on Oct 23rd actually is a feature I've written about the Lincoln Cathedral 'Grail' stuff...the magazine is called MINDSCAPE, check it ut for y'self! Last year I also made a USA movie-docu DVd about it, too. Y'see, it ain't all barmby surreal Wavisness, I can be quite serious, too!
Thing is, most of you prefer the surreal wavey stuff, that's what I wanna hear about, your stories. Love to hear how accurate they are/where..or not!

Was just watching we sold our souls for rock n roll, good dvd btw.
Is it true you used to ask for eggs or slices of white bread as an entrance fee to your gigs, and anyone turning up with slices of brown would be turned away for producing a forgery
Great stories about Kenny Everett and Debbie Harry on the dvd.

No, the Grail is under a burial groundsiopposite the South East corner of Lincoln Cathedral, but we won't go there. (Unless you wanna catch the next National Express coach from yours!).
Westoe cemetary...no...no. A 'treasure' belonging to St Cuthbert still hides under the ground at Westoe Village, but they built flats over the Old Nunnery there where it was so, unless you can get some dynamite from ebay and persuade the block of residents to move out for a week, it'll remain there. Frustrating. Maybe catch that coach, instead. (Bring a shovel and spade).Back to Wavisness tho', which is what lured me here in the first place;

Any fresh fond Wavey stories from afar for my memoirs?
The grey lady guards it anyway so dynamite is useless

ALL the stories in the Dvd are spot on as it happens!
Chris Thompson, no, don't think I do.
Grey Lady? She hard?
Wonder how many of you know that I am the Personal (S)Trainer of 'Geordie Pantsman' who is the Guiness World record Holder for wearing 211 pairs of undies all at once. If you didn't, you do now. He got filmed for the last series of Britain's Got Talent, Glasgow auditions, and they used his clips on the adverts and even announced him being on, as did THE SUN. Buggaz never showed it! It's tough at the top! (Mind, got him on 'Rude Tube' and 'Have I got news for you')
Now then, ANY Wavey stories from yesteryear?

Ha! Nicky Smith! I GAVE him my England 1966 world cup final programme for nowt! Nope, I rarely nip up North (in disguise)..last time was for X-Factor auditions at St James.. you have to recall I'm enigmatic and elusive - so wot the ferk am i doing here?
There's plenty of rumours where I live now, but i think I said earlier in a mansion somewhere in the East Midlands. It''s a fair cop, Guv!
I've done a lot of tv and radio in recent years, most in the USA courtesy of another of my guises, but as Wavis i did three TV shows for SKy this summer and almost got them taken off the air singing 'The Ballad of the Pokeawillies', 'Don't crush bees to death with the end of your walking stick', 'The Pong Song', 'Bit Spray, sir?' and 'Head Butt a Demon'. (Apart from the first song, you can hear all the others, if you must, under their title and 'Wavis O'Shave' on Youtube). You can keep up with recent stuff if you visit Wavis O'Shave - Wikipedia. Did an hour long London radio show the other year' - An evening with Wavis and Foffo'..it's still on the Net on Podcast if you look HARD enough..
Never know where I'll turn up meself. if I turn up. Got an invite to the VIZ Comic 30th Anniversary bash at Jesmond two years back - didn't go. Played a gig as Mustapha Dhoorinc (also on Youtube) at Lincoln City footy ground coupla years ago - nearly caused a riot. Turned up in full islamic reglia on a flying carpet...on wheels, and dragging tins of Tennants Superstrength behind it on ropes.
No, don't even know when I'll turn up...or where. But somewhere.
